8 Feburary 2010

28 blocks sold under the hammer, late last year, highlighting the strong demand for vacant land in the area. The popularity of Nogoa Rise Stage 1 has prompted Council to push ahead with the release of Stage 2, sooner rather than later.

Another 33 blocks, within Emerald’s newest address, could go to auction as early as April. Don’t miss your chance to buy a piece of Emerald at a very competitive price.Keep an eye out for further auction details in the coming months.

Lifting of Level Watering Restrictions for The Community of Rolleston
12 January 2010
As a result of recent rain falls experienced in the Comet River catchments, Council staff have had the opportunity to harvest sufficient flow to fill the Rolleston off stream storage Ring Tank to 100% capacity .Central Highlands Regional Council advise that the previous Level 2 restrictions in force have now been lifted and residents connected to the town water supply can now resume watering activities in line with Level 0 restrictions.

CHRC wish to thank all residents for their patience and commitment to water conservation during this time and the effort put in by all in preserving this most valuable of resources.  Click here for information.
