Mobile Black Spot Lodgement

  • Log a Mobile Black Spot Location

    Council is looking to collect information on the mobile black spots in our region. This will enable us to have information on hand to apply for funding as opportunities arise.

  • How to Lodge a Mobile Black Spot Location with Central Highlands Regional Council

    1.  Determine the latitude and longitude of the mobile black spot location.

    2. Identify any Public Interest Premises (see note below).

    3. Contact our Communities Administration Assistant, Narisa Kerr, to register the mobile black spot location(s).

    Submissions must be received by COB 15 July 2019.

    NOTE: A Public Interest Premises is defined as a premises or location that the program considers is used on a continuing basis for a public interest purpose, and which may include: (a) an economic centre; (b) an emergency services facility*; (c) a health facility*; (d) an educational facility; (e) an indigenous community organisation; (f) a local government facility*; or (g) a not-for-profit organisation.
    *Mobile solutions should not be utilised in the supply of life-critical systems

    The Federal Government keeps a register of the lodged mobile black spots. Further information can be found on the Mobile Black Spot Program Website (scroll to the end for links and go to Mobile Black Spot Location Database).
