The Central Highlands Regional Council operates the Emerald Saleyards which is located in Batts Street, Emerald.  We offer a modern complex that has been designed to give the best presentation of your cattle with the following features:Emerald_Saleyards

History
Prior to amalgamation, the saleyards was operated by the EPDSYB (Emerald & Peak Downs Sale Yards Board) which was a joint local authority board that operated under the Local Government Act 1993.  The Board's first Inaugural Meeting was held on Friday 6 October 1967.
