Arts in August

Each year, the Arts in August campaign promotes the diversity of the region’s thriving arts and culture sector, supporting local community projects and their development.

The program offers an assortment of exciting events and workshops right across the Central Highlands. Keep an eye open for more details on council’s Facebook page, community newsletters and the CQNews.

Register your event to be part of 2019 Arts in August in the Central Highlands. 

Registered events will receive a digital promotions kit and be featured in our Arts in August calendar and included in promotions across council platforms.

Register your event by 30 June 2019.

 

 

Grant applications have now closed. 

Successful grant recipients are required to complete a Grant aquittal form at the completion of the funded program, project or activity.

 

Previous:

We’re supporting up to eight events with a $500 Arts in August grant each. To be eligible, events must meet the guidelines and apply before 5.00 pm on 24 May 2019.

  1. Please read these guidelines before completing your application.
  2. Complete the application document.
  3. Return the application document to your local council customer service centre or via email to enquiries@chrc.qld.gov.au or via post to The Chief Executive Officer, Central Highlands Regional Council, PO Box 21, Emerald, QLD 4720
