Central Highlands Development Corporation is Closed
Central Highlands Development Corporation is closed due to water inundation at its offices in Wally McKenzie House at the Emerald Showgrounds. A new operating venue will be advised as soon as possible.
Campbell Ford Drive Closed to Dry Out
Campbell Ford Dr has been closed again in order to dry out. It showed signs of moving and breaking up. Blue Gums Estate is accessable via Andrews Road. Will Advise when reopened.
Landowner on Council Roads
Please find enclosed a letter aurthorising landowners to carry out emergency works on Council roads so as to have a minimal access to essential services. Council has amended the time period that authorises landholders to perform minimal access road works. Click Here

Briefing Note from the Mayor - Sewerage
Emerald residents are urged to stay away from flood waters due to health issues related to sewerage surcharges. This situation is expected to continue until flood waters recede and service is restored. Some sewerage pump stations where electrical switchboards have been inundated may take longer to bring back into service.
