The Central Highlands Regional Council Community Atlas  - profile.id

The  Atlas presents key socio-demographic characteristics for the Central Highlands Regional Council area as interactive maps. It shows at the finest level of detail where specific groups of people live.

Based on data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Census of Population and Housing 2006, each map is prepared using Census Collector Districts to identify spatial patterns and trends in the Central Highlands.

The information can be used to plan services and facilities for specific groups in the community, to inform community groups about local needs and priorities, and to present a strong demographic case for funding or advocacy.
