Funding Opportunities
Funding Opportunities for Sport and Recreation Clubs
There are numerous times during the year where sporting or recreation clubs can apply for financial funding from different agencies. Funding applications are not always straightforward, so if assistance is required, the Central Highlands Development Corporation can be of assistance.
Debbie Gibson – Central Highlands Development Corporation
Debbie Gibson is the Community Grants Officer at CHDC, working partnership with Kestrel Mine Community Development Fund. She can assist clubs to identify opportunities for funding and work with you to develop, coordinate, and prepare submissions through to completion of the project.
Debbie also travels to various outlying areas of the region on a monthly basis. These visits include the Gemfields, Capella, Blackwater and Springsure on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of the month respectively. A full calendar of scheduled visits along with a list of current funding and other resources can be found on the CHDC website.
